Who delivers the order to me?
HungryandLazy is not a third party delivery service. We send the orders directly to the restaurant and each restaurant has their own delivery drivers who deliver to you.
How does the order get sent to the restaurant?
We have set up links to the restaurants and our ordering system automatically sends the restaurant the order. In most cases, the restaurant will receive your order within 1 minute of you submitting it. Orders are constantly monitored to ensure your order is sent through to the restaurant quickly so it can be delivered ASAP.
How long does it take for my food delivery to arrive?
Each restaurant specifies their own estimated delivery time, it is displayed on the right hand side of the restaurant menu. On occassions, your delivery may take longer than the estimated time due to bad weather, traffic conditions or any other unexpected obstacles. It's always best to give the restaurant a call if you have any questions.
Why do I need to confirm my order with an SMS code?
The SMS confirmation code is a security measure that we use to ensure that you are you. If you are not a member, to place an order, it is required to type the SMS code each time you want to place an order. If you are a member, you will only need to do a confirmation once and then you will no longer need to do it in future.
What if I get my order wrong?
As our system automatically processes your order once you've confirmed it through the SMS confirmation, you will need to call the restaurant directly to change your order if there's a problem.
How can I pay by cash?
When you choose cash as a payment option, the restaurant will simply deliver the order to you and you can pay them with cash.
I'm paying with credit card, is it safe?
Your privacy is very important to us and we've taken measures to prevent unwanted eyes accessing your details. We use an SSL (Secure Socket Layer) connection when processing your order to ensure safe transmission of your order directly to the restaurant.
What if I have a complaint about a restaurant i've ordered from on HungryandLazy?
If you have a direct issue with a restaurant that you've ordered from off HungryandLazy, it is always best to speak to the restaurant manager directly to sort out any immediate problems.
